A feasibility estimate is used in the early stages of design and the pricing stage to determine whether the project aligns with the budget and to help you identify which projects are viable before committing time and resources.
It provides a high-level cost estimate based on MJL Estimating’s database of current market rates, derived from recent projects, giving you a realistic understanding of where your project is likely to sit.
This allows you to make informed decisions early, avoid unnecessary costs, and move forward with confidence.

Feasibility estimates are generally completed within a short timeframe, depending on the size and complexity of the project. A clear timeframe will be confirmed with your fee proposal.

Plans and any available documentation are recommended.
At a minimum, concept plans with elevations are required to prepare a feasibility estimate.

Feasibility estimates are provided at a fixed fee of $450 + GST per project.
More complex or detailed projects may be subject to an adjusted fee, which will be confirmed prior to commencement.
